WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., and CELEBRATION, Fla., March 16, 2009 - The Celebration Health Medical Plaza, Celebration, has received "The Office Building of the Year" (TOBY) Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Seavest Inc. owns the four-story, 92,800 square foot facility, which was developed in collaboration with Lillibridge Healthcare Services and opened in June of 2006. The building is located on the campus of Florida Hospital Celebration.
Celebration Health Medical Plaza is fully occupied with a wide range of healthcare specialties and houses Florida Hospital Celebration Health's Ambulatory Surgical Center. This outpatient surgery center is a joint venture between local surgeons and Florida Hospital Celebration Health.

The TOBY Award was created in 1985 and is the most prestigious and comprehensive evaluation in the commercial real estate profession. Described as the "Academy Award" for office buildings, the TOBY Award recognizes quality in office buildings and excellence in office building management. All facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated during the judging process including tenant relations, community impact and employee programs. Detailed property inspections, floor plans, building standards and photographs are also judged as part of the competition.
The local TOBY award presentation was held at a BOMA-sponsored dinner in late February.
